Final-Golden jubilee tournaments - 2018

The main chief  guest  were  bursar Dr. S. Isaiah and vice principal Dr. D. Samuel Christopher. The match was  organized  by the  consent of Director  of physical education (Head) Dr. L. C John and Dr. A. Palraj(Incharge).Finally  the two best team entered  into the final  to play on 22nd of February 2018.The team were  Bishop  Heber  College, Tirchy vs Rathinam College of arts and science, Coimbatore.
      Both the team  were  so strong  enough  to face each  other  and after  being completing the half  time game of the match none of the both  able  to score a single  goal. Defender  of the both  team  were  so skillful and talented.
      Finally  Rathinam college made a slight mistake and because of that Bishop  Heber  got one free  penalty  shot. That was  the first goal  scored  by Bishop  Heber  College. Opponent failed to make a single  goal  and hence time up and refery  blew  his his final whistle. The joy of celebration  was  over  the field  and the crowd  by the bishop  Heber  supporters team and their supporters.

SEMI FINAL GOLDEN JUBILEE TOURNAMENT - 2018

Football is a game of zeal and jest. Among 14 inter-college teams  finally  four team  enter  into the semi  final.
    The first semi  final was  between  Bishop  Heber  College  vs Nehru Arts and science  college, Coimbatore. Finally  Bishop  Heber  College  got victory  over  Nehru  college  on 21st febrruary 2018 and thereby  entered  in to final.
      The second  semi final  took place on 22nd February 2018 between Jamal  Mohamed college, Tirchy vs Rathinam college of arts  and science, Coimbatore.Rathinam college defeated  Jamal Mohamed college and entered  into final  to play against  Bishop Heber  College. They showed  their talents and spirit of sportsmanship  was shown by their skill  and game they played.

GOLDEN JUBILEE TOURNAMENT - 2018

Recently Golden jubilee tournaments - 2018 held at Bishop  Heber College Football ground. It was  state level inter-college football tournament for the Rev. A. F Gardiner Memorial Trophy.
    It was  organized on 21-22 February 2018.Around 14 team from various  colleges  took  part  in it.Some of them are Nazareth  college  Chennai, shree  Narayan  College   coimbatore, loyola  College  Chennai, Alagagapa College karaikudi, sacred heart  college tirupattur and Jamal  Mohamed college  from tirchy. etc. it was  really  fantastic  event and  every  one inspired  from the game.

Political  news
       This is mainly  deals  with political issues  around  the world. Congress  sweeps  byelelections in Rajasthan. The Congress wrested two Lok sabha seats - Alwar and Ajmer -one Assembly seat, Mandalgarh, from  the ruling  BJP in the western State with  huge margins.

       Fiscal  glide path pushed back to 2021.Finance Minister  Arun Jaitely, in his budget  speech, said the fiscal  deficit  for 2017-18would be ₹5.95lakh crore, which is 3.5%of GDP. The fiscal  deficit for 2018-19 is pegged at 3.3%.
